I confirme your intuition. When disabling compression, export to pdf
works. "Import" from PDF loops endlessly until forced to stop with
Alt-Break.
Hope you will issue a fix soon.
It was not exactly soon, not even by RISC OS standards, but I have finally
managed to sort out both PDF export and import on the Pi3, and there will be
an updated version of ArtWorks this month that works correctly on the Pi3.
This should also work on the Pi4, but the latest hardware I have got is a
Pi3 (thanks to Richard Brown of GeneSys!). So, is anyone using ArtWorks 2.X3
on a Pi4? I would be grateful for a volunteer who could give the fixed
version a try.
