At Space Access, Mitch said that ALASA is about 7klb. He added that "the
usual centerline tank" is about 6klb, and that folks have considered
putting 10klb stores on the centerline station, so 7klb was not thought to
be a big deal.
(I'm not sure why the discrepancy from George's numbers, but one
possibility is that the F-15E -- which is a specialized ground-attack
version -- is cleared for heavier loads than a generic F-15.)
