Adding for flights and hotels I reckon most on this list could afford that by
him/her self. Like an Antarctic trip for two price tag. But it remains a lot
of money. As an Arocket team with many customers, we might lower the ticket
price maybe substantially ;-). I have no idea how many buy such every year.

Yeah they are still around.
Last time I checked you could get a ride to nearly 100kft for $17,000 USD
Most Mig 29's are single seat but they have a few trainers that carry two.
I also know a guy in the states that owns one. That one also has the full
military package and they hire out for combat training to the government.
(that's how they are allowed to fly the unstripped down
version)
They can be bought if you wanted to start a company using them for a platform.
You still need spares and ground support but you could do pretty good for 3-5
Million which is a pretty cheap first stage with a very high ISP reliability,
reuseability and quick turn around.

That great MIG was designed to intercept the USAF Valkyries in the
sixties_bombers (which were never built). B1's were, instead.
There used to be a website where enthusiasts of any country could book a
short MIG-29 flight taking off in Russia ending up in dark skies.
I do not know is such is still possible.
