I expect it's extremely likely that the folks firing ordinance didn't
realize what was in that hangar at the time. We may never know, but it
could have been either a forward spotter seeing a big target, or just a kid
with an RPG.
Poignant third alternative would be a well-meaning .ua troop who was
interested in denying an asset as they withdrew.
