Can you share where you got quotes at 5-8k? I saw a recent project
with larger but much lower pressure ASME tanks and they were nearly
$100k for 3.
If I was trying to go fast and cheap but not ASME I'd call AMS
Industries and find out what the thickest material that they can spin
is. If you can't spin the tank ends they'll have to be forged, which
is a good chunk of the lead time. Ideally you can just make spherical
tanks. Then you have to sign up a welder, and buy a proof testing
pump, and machine fittings, and have a good oxidizer cleaning process.

I have been looking for a while and talking with some vendors, but not many
are willing to make only two of these tanks, or they have a lead time of

that will not cause my bank to break.
