If I was trying to go fast and cheap but not ASME I'd call AMS
Industries and find out what the thickest material that they can spin
is. If you can't spin the tank ends they'll have to be forged, which
is a good chunk of the lead time. Ideally you can just make spherical
tanks. Then you have to sign up a welder, and buy a proof testing
pump, and machine fittings, and have a good oxidizer cleaning process.

Trying to find a reliable source for some ground testing tanks. They

used or custom fabricated, but preferably vertical cylinder designs.
Trying
to get them with specs of 80 gallon (300 liter) capacity and pressure
rated
to 4350 psi (300 Bar). Material wise, looking at 304 unless someone
ofa
better suggestion. These tanks do need to be able to handle cryogenic
conditions as well.
I have been looking for a while and talking with some vendors, but not
many
are willing to make only two of these tanks, or they have a lead time
6-12 months. Ideally, looking for about a 2-3 month lead time and a
price
that will not cause my bank to break.
Thoughts and suggestions very welcome!
