Here is the brochure I was sent by the people at BAR. It appears that the
kit is in fact designed to enable someone to compete in the "Any Liquid
Engine" category of FAR MARS. I was informed that the kit has not flown
yet.

Not sure how I feel about a $20,000 kit rocket. It seems like a shortcut
that encourages those who do not understand what they are doing to play
with cryogenic fuels and oxidizers. Could a kit rocket capable of
performing at FAR MARS even be reliably produced in such a short time frame?
