Using cold gas for roll control, how would one size the system?
Options for roll control:
Cold Gas
Hydrogen would be my choice for a Cold Gas Thruster. There are just so many
positive things about stepping up from Water Rockets to Cold Gas Hydrogen
Thrusters.
The ISP of a Cold Hydrogen is wonderful. It just starts out with so much
"head room" for increasing performance. Starting at almost 0 K propellant
to 0 C Exhaust Gas, hard to find a better ISP.
A cold gas Hydrogen Thruster could also be used for roll control.
For fun I, figured out how to do limited roll control of "a fin less
tubular rocket using a single center line gimbals thrust chamber" after
watching a Falcon 1 launch. But it has to be liquid and would be better as
part of baffle-less slosh controller
