Your primary customer would probably be the military, that sounds like a
miniature functional equivalent of the Wamore system that Armadillo was

The Wamore hardware was a big chunky formed sheet metal box maybe 1.5x1x0.5
ft with two servo windlasses to pull the steering/braking lines on a
parafoil. I think Russ is still on here and could talk better to how well
that system worked, and how heavy it was.
If you're thinking of doing the exact same approach, from what I've seen
the small scale COTS parafoils are very finicky. Though you could work
