Should be able to just copy the font folders from !Fonts on the Iyonix
into !Fonts on your ARMX6.
To do this, on Iyonix shift-double click !Boot, go to Resources, then
shift-double-click !Fonts. You should see folders in there. Copy the EFF
ones over. AVOID COPYING THINGS LIKE TRINITY OR OTHER PRE-LOADED FONTS.
On ARMX6, shift-double click on !Boot, go to Resources, and shift-double
click on !Fonts and copy the folders into there.
NOTE: If you see a text file called Messages1 in the !Fonts folder, you
will probably find that the computer doesn't immediately recognise the new
fonts. Messages1 is a catalogue of the installed fonts, to speed up the
lookup. The "quick'n'dirty" solution is simply to delete that file and
reboot - your new fonts will be found immediately.
The alternative is as follows. BEFORE copying the font folders across,
put all the fonts you're copying inside a !Fonts folder (can be anywhere -
just make a directory called !Fonts then shift-double click it and copy
the font folders there). Next, instead of copying directly into the
master !Fonts on ARMX6, double click !Boot and go to Fonts, then "Install
new fonts". Drag your newly-created !Fonts into that window, and it
should "merge" the fonts in. This will normally updated Messages1 as
needed (if present).
Personally, I don't like Messages1 and tend to delete it, because it can
create a disconnect between the fonts on the machine, and what the
computer *thinks* are on the machine. That's a whole heap of horrible (my
opinion) that reminds me of Windows.
