The thing to remember is that on most keyboards, the
Break key is also marked "Pause".

I've only just taken that on board. I've looked at it a
thousand times but never *seen* it. It's me age, doncha
know?

Don't feel silly for asking, though - you're in good
company - the lead programmer had a dedicated keyboard
hooked up to his for a while because when
testing/developing he needed alt-break/ctrl-break etc,
and thought the laptop didn't have it!

Feeling silly is par for the course these days. I must go
and lie down in a dark room.
