Hi All,
I have MessengerPro that plays a sample when an incoming email meets
certain criteria.
If the USBEthernet device is plugged in and a Vonets Wifi device as well
for networking, it all works well until the battery runs down to around
60% and then when an incoming email triggers the sound sample to play the
ARMBook resets.
As a matter of interest why do you need both, at same time?
Hi Chris,
Good to hear from you.
So when I am in the lounge and feeling lazy I connect to the internet via
the Wifi on my router and to do so the Vonets acts as a WiFi to ethernet
bridge and has a RJ45 socket that I connect to the USBEthernet device that
gives an Ethernet port on the ARMBook as it has no built in one.
The Vonets then also needs a power source and hence it also needs to be
connected to a USB port.
Of course if I just want an Ethernet cable access then I could trail one
across the the lounge but that is not really a good option.
Hopefully when we get built in Wifi this will go away!
If I have the power adaptor plugged in when going below 60% it will not
trigger any issues.
Is there a battery manager in the ARMBook?
Yes it shows battery state, charging status etc.
Take Care
Doug
