Sometimes on start-up I get the dreaded Ofla Ofla error. A reboot
usually solves that.
Sound is too high pitched.
Is this with anything in particular? I found that certain things varied
by version - Mplayer for movies, for example, older versions may be better
(although I think I put the older version on your machine anyway, for demo
purposes).
If it is the Messenger chime, this has been reported and I'm investigating
a more modern, 16bit/44khz sample rather than the old arc-era sample.
I can't get UniPrint to work - when trying to set it up I get "Error
from UniSetup: Unable to write system variables file - is disc write
protected?"
Can you email me privately about this - I can't immediately reproduce, but
this isn't the place for UniPrint tech support. If you can let me know
version etc, that'd be helpful.
I haven't been able to test Windows networking yet - I'm waiting for
an upgrade to LanMan98, but RISC OS networking via ShareFS works fine.
Try OmniClient (in Networking) - you may find LM98 isn't quite so
necessary as it was historically.
