[argyllcms] read error: cgats.add_kword() for a .cie Monaco Reference file

Hi,
What can I do about this read error for a Monaco EZcolor .cie reference
file? I get
scanin: Error - CGATS file 'ref\MONR2008.12.01.cie' read error :
cgats.add_kword(), keyword '[cryptic signs ;-)]' illegal
I got this file simply by unzipping a .mrf file.
