Hello,

I'm using ArgyllCMS V2.1.2 on Windows with ColorMunki and have strange problem with high resolution mode.

First I'm doing

>dispcal -R

and (part of normal) response is

Measured display update delay of 73 msec, using delay of 197 msec & 0 msec inst reaction
patch 3 of 3
patch 17 of 17
patch 17 of 17
Uncalibrated response:
Black level = 0.1048 cd/m^2
50%   level = 24.79 cd/m^2
White level = 85.91 cd/m^2
Aprox. gamma = 1.79
Contrast ratio = 820:1
White chromaticity coordinates 0.3325, 0.3440
White    Correlated Color Temperature = 5499K, DE 2K to locus = 2.3
White Correlated Daylight Temperature = 5500K, DE 2K to locus = 2.8
White        Visual Color Temperature = 5444K, DE 2K to locus = 2.2
White     Visual Daylight Temperature = 5566K, DE 2K to locus = 2.7
Effective Video LUT entry depth seems to be 10 bits
The instrument can be removed from the screen.

Then I'm doing

>dispcal -R -H

and response is

, using delay of 200 msec & 0 msec inst reaction
patch 3 of 3
patch 17 of 17
Uncalibrated response:
Black level = 0.0000 cd/m^2
50%   level = 0.00 cd/m^2
White level = 0.00 cd/m^2
Aprox. gamma = 1.80
Contrast ratio = 928:1
White chromaticity coordinates 0.3323, 0.3444
White    Correlated Color Temperature = 5508K, DE 2K to locus =  2.7
White Correlated Daylight Temperature = 5509K, DE 2K to locus =  2.4
White        Visual Color Temperature = 5443K, DE 2K to locus =  2.6
White     Visual Daylight Temperature = 5564K, DE 2K to locus =  2.3
Effective Video LUT entry depth seems to be 10 bits
The instrument can be removed from the screen.

Notice that "Measured display update delay" is not displayed, also Black/50%/White levels are all zero.

Then, during calibration in high-res I do finally get error

Doing check measurements
, using delay of 200 msec & 0 msec inst reaction
Black = XYZ 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000
Grey  = XYZ  0.001  0.001  0.001
White = XYZ  0.002  0.003  0.002
1%    = XYZ  0.000  0.000  0.000

  Current Brightness = 0.00
  Target 50% Level  = 0.001, Current = 0.001 (Aprox. Gamma 1.78), error =  7.5%
  Target Near Black = 0.0000, Current = 0.0000, error = 0.0%
  Target white = x 0.3325, y 0.3476, Current = x 0.3305, y 0.3422, error =  3.29 DE
  Target black = x 0.3325, y 0.3476, Current = x 0.3223, y 0.3392, error =  5.07 DE

Commencing display calibration
patch 9 of 9
Black = XYZ 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000
Red   = XYZ  0.002  0.001  0.000
Green = XYZ  0.001  0.002  0.000
Blue  = XYZ  0.000  0.000  0.002
White = XYZ  0.002  0.003  0.002
The instrument can be removed from the screen.
dispcal: Error - Aprox. fwd matrix unexpectedly singular

I tried the same instrument on V2.1.2 on Linux - no problem with high-res, and I tried it with some older (1.3.2) version on Windows - no problem either.

Best regards, Ivan
