I tried the same instrument on V2.1.2 on Linux - no problem with high-res, 
and I tried it with some
older (1.3.2) version on Windows - no problem either.

Unfortunately I'm unable to reproduce the problem, and I tried a few different
systems. It smells a like an un-initialized variable or memory overwrite, but
running on Linux with valgrind didn't uncover anything suspicious.

Without more hints as to what triggers it, I'm at a loss.
