Hi,
I've tested the Keyspan USA-19HS on some MSWin systems (Win2K),
but their support for this product seems to have deteriorated, and I couldn't
get it to run reliably on WinXP (the driver seemed to crash when you
did something like unplug it). The Keyspan might still be OK on Mac systems.

I've also tested a cheaper "no name" USB to serial (Called a "GUC-AD9"
if that's any help, USB VID 067B, PID 2303), that uses the Prolific USB-Serial
chip.
It's called the "PL2303" on the Prolific.com.tw website.
I've successfully used this on Win7 64 bit with the DTP92, so it should
work with the Spectrolino.

On my latest system I installed a PCIe serial/parallel card in order
to have a serial port on my system.

Graeme Gill.
