[argyllcms] Purplish calibration results on Mac OS X Mac Book Pro?

I have run the commands as described on the tutorial; they worked perfectly
in Linux.
But when I try to use the with my Huey PRO on Mac OS X 10.6 on a Mac Book
Pro, I get a result that makes certain blues look purple.
This is similar to the result I get if I use the Huey software; but the same
calibrator works fine on my Linux box.
What are my options? Should I install Linux simply to get a .icc profile?
