My reading of the documentation is that '-a' only makes the patches longer
in the read direction but does not affect the height.  Perhaps Graeme can
confirm this.

You're absolutely brilliant!  I updated the driver and pointed it to the
Argyll directy...problem solved!  Thank you!

Now...any idea how to make the patches a bit bigger?  Not sure if I'm
implementing the -a switch properly.

Hello Philip,

have you checked in Device Manager that the Argyll USB Device driver
(not the original XRite one) is active for the DTP20?
