[argyllcms] How to measure light without ambient measurement head?

Dear members!
Could you please help?
I use EFI ES-2000, an OEM version of X-rite i1 Pro, it is
without possibility to
measure light and it does not have an ambient light measurement head.
Is there a way to measure light with Agryll CMS, for example using `spot`
measure function?
How correct these measurements are?
