But when I chance -qm to -qh I get this. (See below) What can I do? What is the problem? I work on a MacOSX 10.4.11 G5, 8GB RAM, 2x 2,5Ghz. Thank you.

Rev cache RAM = 2770 Mbytes
There is 1 rev cache instance with 2770 Mbytes limit
4%colprof(16553) malloc: *** vm_allocate(size=8421376) failed (error code=3)
colprof(16553) malloc: *** error: can't allocate region
colprof(16553) malloc: *** set a breakpoint in szone_error to debug
/Volumes/RAID-5/Argyll_V1.0.3/bin/colprof: Error - rspl malloc failed - reverse cell simplexes - base simplex

There is a known issue on systems with large amounts of RAM,
in that they may run out of virtual memory space, and a malloc
unexpectedly fails.

You could try working around the problem by setting the
environment variable ARGYLL_REV_CACHE_MULT to something
less than 1.0 (ie. try 0.7), and see if that helps.

See <http://www.argyllcms.com/doc/Performance.html> for
more details.

Graeme Gill.
