Well, ArgyllCMS is not building ICC v.4 profiles. Iccdump reports for
cLUT profile:

So it's not because FF is not supporting ICC v.4 cLUT profiles
correctly, but that FF is not supporting cLUT profiles correctly at all.
For the record, I am infinitely glad that I bought an old AMD HD 7850
GPU. For the first time I'm able to calibrate to high quality level and
single-gamma profile built upon that is good enough for me:
