Astonishing!

I will try to find out more about these "problems" they discovered.

I guess the only way to get this fixed is for people who care about
color to report the bug. And keep reporting it. But it also needs someone with
a clue to take care of the color code too.

Yes, it does sound like "don't understand what this code does let's get rid of it" to me.
