Hey all:
I managed to procure an XRite DTP20 Pulse on the cheap - but unfortunately it’s
missing the little plastic board that came with it.
I realize this means that I’ll never be able to calibrate it - but it’s still
got it’s last calibration in there, and still produces pretty decent readings,
and anyway I’m just playing around with it.
Anyway, I’ve managed to 3-D print a fake Pathfinder reasonably close to the
dimensions needed by measuring pictures of the Pathfinder on line - but when it
comes time to print the the zebra stripe on the board, I can’t get it accurate
enough - I keep getting the “SHORT STRIP ERROR” - which would indicate that the
zebra stripe I made off of measurements has too many stripes / per cm on it.
(Or not enough, depending on how you want to read “short strip”) I was curious
if anybody had one of these boards lying around and could take a picture of the
zebra-striped area next to a ruler so I could attempt to reconstruct it.
Currently, I’ve got it printed with 6 .8333mm strips per centimeter with
0.8333mm between them. Each patch is 6mm wide.
Thanks!
Prater
