Hi,
I managed to procure an XRite DTP20 Pulse on the cheap - but unfortunately
it’s missing the little
plastic board that came with it.
I hope you paid not much for it (i.e. no more than the postage), because it
will need
calibrating at some point in the future.
I realize this means that I’ll never be able to calibrate it - but it’s still
got it’s last
calibration in there, and still produces pretty decent readings, and anyway
I’m just playing around
with it.
Note that it needs to be spaced exactly the right distance away from the paper
or
you won't get valid readings. The thickness is around 3.35 mm.
Currently, I’ve got it printed with 6 .8333mm strips per centimeter with
0.8333mm between
them. Each patch is 6mm wide.
Zebra ruler is 11 mm wide x 291 mm long, with white and black stripes each of
width 0.839 mm.
Cheers,
Graeme Gill.
