Dear all
After successful creating icc. profiles for my printers with the excellent
Argyll CMS,
I would like to create a input 3DLUT for my camera in video mode with log
footage:
As a first step I have successfully created a input icc for my camera using the
colorchecker SG with my own spectral data of the chart. The profile works fine
with capture one C1.
In the next step I have exported a TIF containing the log footage of the
colorchecker SG from DaVinci Resolve and created a camera profile with the same
workflow which works also fine in capture one.
However the goal is to create a input 3DLUT of my camera.
I tried to create a 3DLUT using the 3DLUTMaker included in DisplayCAL with the
input ICC of my camera and Rec709 as a source profile.
The created 3DLut doesn’t show the right colour correction of the log footage
(checked with importing the 3DLUT into colorspace ) as the camera input profile
created with Argyll in capture one.
Therefore I decided to use collink in Argyll:
collink -v -qm -s -ip -op -3c Rec709.icm SL-LOG_CCSG.icm SL_log_REC709.icm
I got an error message:
Error - get xlookup object failed: 1, icc_get_luobj: Unable to locate usable
conversion
I wonder if I am still on the right way and somebody has successfully created a
input 3DLUT using Argyll and could give me some information about the right
approach.
Many thanks for your advice!
Best regards
Frank
