Hi, Graeme.  Very much appreciate your reply.  If you have a fix, sounds like that'd be easier and better than hunting down an older version.  Not sure what's involved, but if it's just a matter of getting a newer file or build, could you upload it here?

Hello, all.  I have a Spyder5 that I'm trying to use on Linux, but I'm unable
to install the
firmware or any other vendor files using oeminst.
Maybe datacolor changed the file format in a recent update?  or am I just doing
something
completely wrong?
Hi,
it's a heuristic to locate the binary blob in the .dll, and the format
has changed a little. I have a fix, but I'm not sure how best to get it to you.

Any recommendations on how I can import this?  Is there a newer/dev version I
can try?  or do I
need to get an older copy of the Spyder5 Pro software?
An older version of the spyder Setup.exe should work, but I'm not sure where
you'd
get one from.

Cheers,
        Graeme Gill.
