Would expect better from the Nikon Speedlights as they are capable of firing

The Paul C Buff Einstein model studio flash has a “color constancy” mode that
keeps the CCT stable to within ±50K regardless of output. It also has a “sport”
mode that minimizes flash duration at the expense of color constancy; both are
in addition to the “normal” mode that’s intended as a “good enough” general
purpose compromise.
A quick check of their Web site didn’t reveal any information about how this
all works, but if somebody else has a spare moment, I remember they used to
have some good literature about it.
I have nothing but good to say about Buff units and the company and their
support, incidentally. Love their gear, and they’ve been most reasonable with
repairs, etc. (No idea how they compare with other studio flash companies and
products; I just know that I’m really happy with Buff.)
