I made a profile for CRT Eizo monitor using dispcalGUI. This were results after setting monitor's controls : Target Brightness = 100.00, Current = 100.14, error = 0.1% Target 50% Level = 21.80, Current = 23.15, error = 1.4% Target Near Black = 1.00, Current = 1.02, error = 0.0%Target white = x 0.3128, y 0.3291, Current = x 0.3132, y 0.3291, error = 0.32 DE Target black = x 0.3128, y 0.3291, Current = x 0.3074, y 0.3258, error = 2.72 DE
And after calibration:dispcal -v -d1 -c1 -p0.615384615385,0.404,2.375 -H -qh -t6500 -b100 - g2.2 -f0 -k1
Brightness error = -0.009215 cd/m^2 White point error = 0.225425 deltaE Maximum neutral error (@ 0.110657) = 0.661718 deltaE Average neutral error = 0.311683 deltaE And after colprof -v -qh -alWhite point XYZ = 0.950611 0.999117 1.092147, Lab = 99.965834 -2.212721 -19.671204 Black point XYZ = 0.001351 0.001477 0.001739, Lab = 1.334208 -0.293677 -0.983488
Display Luminance = 100.278836 profile check complete, peak err = 2.571549, avg err = 0.588872 Nothing wrong with the numbers. But after the profile was installed I've validated it with basICColor display 4.1.17
and got only 71 cd/m2 instead of 100. This is rather huge difference. Any idea why? Regards Andrzej Duda
