I have seen a couple of these patients and actually have one on caseload now.
I work in an oncology center and can easily pick the brain of the radiation
oncologist and the physicist but it would be so nice to have another PT to talk

Hi Alane,
If you think you will need to mobilize the lower jaw or even consider use of
a Therabite, Orastretch, Dynasplint, touch base the oncology dentist on
stability of the lower jaw. Also try to get into the medial pterygoid along
the inside the lower jaw. I think that it is responsible for some the
trismus along with the TMJ capsule.
