Hey Jim,
It will just take getting use to. May I suggest the following:
For gestures get the free looktel voice over tutorial. Looktel has just one L
at the end.
Secondly, If you had a Bluetooth keyboard and a list of the voice over
commands, it may make your transition easier.. Feel free to contact me off list
if you'd like some one on one help.

I have been using windows forever, ok, since 2000. My sighted wife has an IPad,
and I am trying to learn how to use it, and honestly, I could throw it out the
window. How the **** can you get used to it? I'm overwhelmed, and want some
