Hi folks,
I’m not quite sure how to start this E-Mail. If I remember Justin’s ultimatum
correctly, he said he’d review the document and give us the verdict whether
AODVv2 will be killed or not. We got the review (which is awesome), made a lot
of changes based on it, asked questions and proposed improvements– but we still
don’t know if AODVv2 has a future at all.
Frankly, I’d find it extremely frustrating if AODVv2 was killed without a trace
after all the hard work (and time) we’ve poured into it, but if that’s the
case, I’d rather find out sooner than later– I’d find it equally frustrating to
realize that we’ve been working on a document that has already been pronounced
dead.
Does anybody know what the status is here? Or did I misunderstand Justin?
And In case it isn’t dead, what do you think of arranging another conference
call? There are some TODOs in the Security Considerations that need to be
tackled and one of Justin’s major issues isn’t resolved yet.
