Hello folks,
I put out a message to the mailing list about the loop discussion. The
authors of the paper agreed with me. Isn't that sufficient resolution?
Regarding multiple IP addresses on one interface -- it is not a problem.
This has been discussed. We decided to have a single sequence number for
the AODVv2 router to be used for all interfaces (and, thus, for all IP
addresses). There did not seem to be any further problem remaining after
that.
To be clear, it would be O.K. even if we had one sequence number per
interface, or one per IP address, but then we would have to be very very
picky about the language used to specify it.
Regarding the security considerations, I think that the recent text from
Vicky and Lotte is O.K.
