[antispam-f] SmartGroups is (are?) closing down

As many of you are aware, SmartGroups are to close at the end of this
month. I don't think many people will be sad to see them go.
I will be issuing reminders to those still on the !AntiSpam SG that
they should sign up for the Freelist instead.
There are, of course, many messages stored in the !AntiSpam SG. There
is the question of whether they should be archived. My opinion is
that they shouldn't. They served their purposes at the time, but
their usefulness is over, I feel. Ask yourself when you last referred
back to a message more than just a few weeks old. I know I hoard
things in case they may come in useful one day, but I seriously doubt
that any of those old message will do any of us any good.
Your opinions, please!
None of this will stop anyone who wishes, from keeping his/her own
archive; nor should it.
