Hi List,

Just a reminder that the 35th year of the long-running "Wichita Pops
Weekend" begins November 11/12 in Wichita, Kansas. The series has always
provided top notch entertainment on some of the finest theatre organs in the
world and this season is certainly no exception!

This season's events kick-off when Richard Hills, from the United Kingdom,
takes the famous NY Paramount Wurlitzer at Wichita's Century II Convention
Center through its paces on Saturday night, November 11. Richard, a
spectacular young talent and former Westminister organ scholar, is
internationally known for his appearances at ATOS Conventions, concerts, and
CD's and his virtuosity spans both the theatre organ and classical organ
gamut. His warm English wit and extraordinary keyboard talent always
provides an entertainment experience second to none, and this concert on the
legendary NY Paramount organ will certainly be no exception! The concert
will begin at 7:00 PM.

The second part of the weekend will continue with a Sunday afternoon
(November 12) concert at the Little River Studio when Wichita's own Patti
Simon and ragtime pianist Dick Kroeckel present a musical and FUN afternoon
session on the 4/19 Little River Studio organ. If you haven't had the
opportunity to see and hear Dick and Patti perform together, you're missing
a treat - wonderful music and keyboard dialogue that is as entertaining as
it gets. Concert time is 1:00 PM at the Little River Studio.

For those who have never been there, the entire weekend is great fun with
wonderful hospitality from the Wichita hosts. Tickets are still available
for both events! For ticket information, contact Alan Wicks,

Join us in Kansas for a great musical weekend November 11-12!
