Friends,
Grant and I have already volunteered to be on the worship committee for this
conference, and Gloria has volunteered to help with child care. Are there any
volunteers who would be willing to help with the Hotel logistics (see below)?
Let me know soon so I can get back to Spike.

Subject: South Central Conference in Austin
Ray Gingerich;
I am Spike Hostetler of Harper, Kansas, and will be handling the logistics for
the South Central Mennonite Conference in Austin this July 16-18. You may be
aware that the meetings will be held at the Red Lion Hotel in Austin.
The Administration Committee of Conference will be doing the planning for the
meetings and we would invite some persons from the Austin Mennonite Church to
help us with some of the local details. Would you or someone from your
congregation be willing to help us with this? One of the areas we would like
help on would be for arranging child care and children's activities.
Howard Hershberger and myself will be in Austin on Tuesday evening, February 24
and the following Wednesday morning. Would it be possible for you or someone
from the congregation to meet with us during this time to talk about plans for
the conference?
We would appreciate any help you folks can give us,
