Subject: MCC response to Katrina

Friends, late tomorrow expect a more involved response from MCC/MDS. In
the meantime, please check these links:
http://www.mcc.org/katrina.html
http://www.mcc.org/katrina/katrina050905.html
http://www.mds.mennonite.net/Home

As you know, MCC/MDS does NOT want volunteers or resources just now,
although as you'll note from the second article, the supplies going to
Alabama included 800 cartons (24 cans per carton) of canned turkey, more
than 2,000 relief kits, 10,000 comforters and blankets, 5,000 school
kits and 5,000 health kits. That means that the store house will need
these supplies replenished.

Additionally, the Mennonite leadership in the Gulf States, both
conferences and congregations, are being inundated with phone calls.
Please spend your time in prayer.

Peace,
Susan
