What is this?” You Ask
Kitchen Volunteer Opportunity:
The Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH) Overnight Shelter serves
dinner daily to all residents of the overnight shelter. Learn more about the
Front Steps at the ARCH here http://frontsteps.org/who-we-are/
Austin Mennonite Church serves Dinner the first Friday of each Month. Four
church members volunteer from 6-8 by being a cafeteria line style server. The
chefs that prepare the meals are very nice and helpful and will give a quick
training on your first visit.
Is Front Steps right for you?
· Do you feel comfortable working or want to feel comfortable working
with homeless and formerly homeless individuals?
· Are you able to volunteer your time?
· Do you agree with the FrontSteps philosophy that all people deserve
the dignity of a safe place to call home?
· Are you committed to restoring hope to homeless men and women?
· Are you over the age of 18?
