*Sharing of Joys and Concerns from Sunday, October 27, 2019*
- Josh - Pray for Kaitlin. She was in Houston for training and had her
car broken into and some cash taken. The incident has caused her to feel
less protected.
- Clayton - One of our housemates, Sam, was in a car accident and had
some stitches. He does not have health or car insurance and is feeling the
shortage of funds.
- Peggy - Our goddaughter, Angel, a young girl, was bitten by a dog and
required stitches. She loves animals. Pray for her healing and for her
mother, Victoria.
- Bob Knipe - One of my co-worker teachers is very troubled because one
of their former students killed a member of the student's family. Pray for
the student and the family and for this teacher and other teachers who care
deeply for their students.
- Dolly - It is good to be back in Austin and at AMC. I appreciated
being able to keep in touch and I am proud of AMC's involvement with
Pancakes for Scholarships and Hands on Housing. I am glad that this year's
pancake breakfast was waste and Styrofoam free.
- Jill - I was happy to serve recently in Central America with Mennonite
Central Committee for a year as a digital media specialist. I am a graphic
designer and I am now looking for a job in Austin in my area. It would be
great to work for a non-profit.
- Ted - Pray for Dama. She is sick and was not able to travel to Florida
to visit her sister Gloria.

*Nov 7, 6-8pm - Loving Our Migrant Neighbor *event happening in Austin at
Northeast High School (Reagan High School) put on by a local CCDA chapter
(Christian Community Development Association- https://ccda.org/). There
will be different activists, pastors, and some of our migrant neighbors
there who will share stories and share ways to partner with people in our
communities. They are also reaching out to more non-profits that would be
interested in attending to set up a table and share about how people in
Austin can volunteer/ partner with their organizations to serve this
community better.
