I shared “ I am concerned for my cousin Jack and his spouse Bailey expecting
their child to be born here in the next couple days. Unfortunately he is sick
and worried he may have COVID 19, which could potentially cause him to have to
miss the birth of his child. Please pray for Jack and Bailey as they anticipate
their child Isla Jae. Prayers for COVID 19 free future for them and for the
baby and mother to be healthy and happy.”
Thank God Jack has been tested and is COVID Free. Continued prayers for being
pregnant during the pandemic and for a smooth birth.

As a congregation we are committed to reviewing the AMC Covenant annually. We
will be doing that during the worship service this coming Sunday, January 10,
2021. The 2020 AMC Covenant is attached.
The AMC Covenant works at clarifying the values and mission of the Austin
Mennonite Church. It is helpful to review it annually and to reflect on how
we are carrying out these values in our common life and ministries as a
congregation. Do we still affirm the AMC Covenant as a congregation? How are
we living out this covenant? What can we affirm? In 2021 do we need to pay
more attention to some of our values and goals in the covenant? Are you
willing to sign your name to the AMC Covenant and be a covenant member of AMC
in 2021?
Please take time to read through the AMC Covenant this week. Instead of a
sermon, we will have a discussion of the covenant during the worship service
where you will be able to offer a response.
