As a congregation we are committed to reviewing the AMC Covenant annually.
We will be doing that during the worship service this coming Sunday,
January 10, 2021. *The 2020 AMC Covenant is attached*.
The AMC Covenant works at clarifying the values and mission of the Austin
Mennonite Church. It is helpful to review it annually and to reflect on how
we are carrying out these values in our common life and ministries as a
congregation. Do we still affirm the AMC Covenant as a congregation? How
are we living out this covenant? What can we affirm? In 2021 do we need to
pay more attention to some of our values and goals in the covenant? Are you
willing to sign your name to the AMC Covenant and be a covenant member of
AMC in 2021?
Please take time to read through the AMC Covenant this week. Instead of a
sermon, we will have a discussion of the covenant during the worship
service where you will be able to offer a response.
