Sharing of Joys and Concerns from Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019:

Gloria - I enjoyed working with the children of the church today finding
Easter eggs and was glad to see them sharing with each other.

Peggy - I recently participated in the celebration of the Bengali New
Year and appreciated the feast of color, drama, poetry, dance and art.

Stacy V. - Recently I received treatment for ADHD. The treatment has
been very helpful and I am grateful for your support and prayers.

Dixie - We have been praying for Norah Brubaker, a ten year old girl in
Pennysylvania who has been struggling with a serious medical condition.
Norah died this past week. Pray for Norah's family and friends. A
memorial service for Norah will be held Sunday, April 28, at 3pm at Park
View Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg VA.

Lee - I visited with Brisa and Omar by phone. They called from La Paz.
They are doing well and will be sending more information about their work
with Mennonite Central Committee partner organizations in Bolivia. Welcome
to Brisa's parents today, Hal and Helena. They continue work on Brisa and
Omar's tiny house.

Miguel - I am very delighted that my wife Stacey has a new job as dean
of a new online social work program where she can work from our home in
Georgetown.

Stacey - It is good to be back in Texas. It was good to be able to work
for a while near West Virginia where I could help with caregiving for my
parents for a time. It has caused me to reflect on God's timing in my life.

Jade - I am happy to feel a shift toward people caring for the
environment and the impact we all make on it.

Nathan - I am feeling inspired with the realization that Easter
celebrations are happening all around in the world with a variety of
Christian communities.
