There will be a short congregational meeting this coming Sunday, Nov 2, at
the beginning of the potluck meal to review a Financial Report through the
third quarter and to hear an overview of AMC Committees as we invite
committee participation for 2015.

*Sharing of Joys and Concerns from Sunday, Oct 26*
- Clayton - enjoyed a camping trip to Enchanted Rock where the starry
night was spectacular.
- Susanna - and Will enjoyed honeymooning in Spain. They are looking
for housing, their rental is being sold.
- Milton - enjoyed a trip to Italy.
- Bob Knipe - the principal at his school had her baby, all is well, but
it has been a difficult year healthwise for others at the school.
- Jessica - happy to be in church today and six months drug free.
- Dama - as she reflected on loving God and loving one's neighbor, she
asked for prayers to be able to show God's love even when it is difficult.
- Dixie - concerned about the upcoming election and the possible impact
on education.

The AMC Coordinating Council met on Sat, Oct 25 at the church. We talked
together about activities of the last few months and did some planning
ahead. It was a positive meeting and there was a sense of engagement and
energy. I am glad for committed leaders here at AMC. As we finish this
year and anticipate the next, I pray for vision and inspiration for all of
us. I pray that we will continue to embrace God's call to grow as a
community of grace, joy and peace, so that God's healing and hope flow
through us to the world.
