I would say until you learn how to recognize whether a particular font has 
built-in tie-ins and/or tie-offs in them....then yes, add the TI's and TO's to 
your lettering. Better to have too many than none at all, altho doubling up on 
these can cause some issues at times too, like thread breaks.....True type 
fonts do not have any so it is always a safe bet to add them in.

Check in your "Help" section on how to "Convert Alphabets" and it will show you 
how to remove all existing TI's and/or TI's from the pre-digitized list, so you 
can then add your own style, if you wish.
