I believe the "overmolded" style of pinch roller is a pinch roller with the
same yellow coating around it as the "threadfeed rollers have.
I know that they had been proto-typing these for some time and now it appears
they may have finally released them for public use.
Advantages would be the wear or grooving of the red plastic roller vs an even
longer life and a better more positive gripping surface with the yellow "over
molded" pinch rollers. I would think that any " high production " operation
would definitly benifit from the use of these rollers.
This would be my best guess as to what these new " overmolded " are......
