Do you want just the ouline of an oval, or an oval shape with a different
'hole' in side it?
You can create 'ovals' as just an outline easily-they are included with basic
fonts as a 'design' font in your database-I haven't got the book with the
listings but they are in there-you just use the correct key or key combination
to get them.
Or, go into 'artwork' off the tool bar and you get a drop down menu with shapes
in it-find 'oval' and make it the size you want-then if it isn't in a 'column'
click in the properties menu to 'change element type' to a single line or
complex line and set your width of the outline itself, without a fill pattern.
