$900 for a power supply is far too high.
Hugo is right with the list price of $504.40
We are very careful with who we use to repair our power supplies as they
are not standard units and many electronics people cannot reapir them
correctly.

I just sent a power supply from my EMT machine to a guy in New Jersey
that I
found that fixes electronics. He was in the back of one of the
embroidery
magazines. The new one from Melco was around $900 and this guy is
fixing my
old one for a fraction of that. Let me know if you want his number and
I
can look it up for you. I have never used him before but he was very
nice
and confident on the phone.
