We do some very thick saddle cover with a 60-70 denier nylon outer
quilted foam filler, and a thin nylon liner.

We use a Mt of around 4 and we also use a Teflon 80/12 needle
makes the best of the nylon. we use other needles and it really
makes a difference when we use the Teflon.
also we run way slow! We use a ARC metallic gold and it's some
huge area of fill stitches which we run at around 400 to 550 SPM.
I run until we get lots of thread breaks and use this for my high end speed.

Subject: [amayausers] metallic thread on sport bags

Dear List,
Can you give suggestions for stitching with metallic thread on 70 denier
wt. sport bags? Would appreciate any suggestions.
