I have been following the posting about the trimmer not trimming because mine
is acting up as well. It is the Amaya XT. It fails to trim frequently but
randomly. If I run the test, it trims fine, bu on projects it acts up. My
husband has checked all around the blade and selector, he has done the "detect
trimmer" suggestion and now has the back off of the machine. Both cables seem
okay, the selector and blade both seem to be going in and out as they should.
We cannot understand why this occurence is so random. The "sister" Amaya right
next to it never fails to trim even when we do the exact same project/design.
Is there some adjustment that we need to make? twinsmom.
