It is possible that the laser is off by a bit depending on its adjustment and
the thickness of the fabric. And, your design is really close to the maximum
usable area of that hoop, maybe even a bit over. You can get a rough idea of
the usable size of any hoop by measuring across the inside of the hoop and
subtracting 1".
I recommend that you never start sewing if the trace detected a hoop limit.
Change to a larger hoop to prevent expensive damage to your machine.
